For my high school senior year project, I designed and build a sleek cherry wood desk with simple metal legs. For the design aspect I wanted something very simple and clean but with a beautiful grain and color to enhance it. The production part was very educational as I learned the most efficient and sustainable ways to turn pieces of lumber into something practical. I also was able to put my metal cutting, welding, and grinding skills to test when making the legs out of one inch tube metal. (Hand-Drawn Blueprint)
